EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
L. Carrington Weldon “Carrie” graduated with honors from Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1999. Over the next several years, Carrie worked as an elementary science and math teacher while she and her husband started their family. Carrie attended Mercer University’s School of Law, graduating with honors. During her time there she was a member of the prestigious Mercer Law Review and Moot Court and earned multiple academic awards. Carrie’s case note on Fourth Amendment rights with search and seizure was published in Vol. 70 of the Mercer Law Review. She also was the winner of the Hugh Lawson Intraschool Moot Court Competition, semi-finalist of the YLD Intrastate Moot Court Competition, and Vice-Chair of Moot Court.
During her time at law school, Carrie had the privilege of interning with Pasley, Nuce, Mallory & Davis, LLC., gaining valuable experience while she was a student. Carrie transitioned into the firm as an associate attorney upon completion of her studies.
Carrie is a member of the Georgia Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia Labor & Employment Section. Carrie and her husband have three boys, and together they enjoy traveling and anything that has to do with the ocean.
