EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Andria Allen attended Mercer University on a debate scholarship before transferring to Southern Polytechnic State University and graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology.  After graduating, she went on to work for several engineering firms doing transportation work.  She worked on the people mover project and the fifth runway at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.  She also obtained her Master’s in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University.

After several years in the engineering field, Andria decided to attend law school.  She graduated from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2012.  While attending law school, she was heavily involved in fundraising for several non-profits including Greenlaw, Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and John Marshall’s Public Interest Law Society (PILS).  She is one of four students that started and helped fund the Honorable Renata Turner PILS Scholarship, a for student by student scholarship program which helps students interested in pursuing legal careers in the public sector.

Andria has worked for two different Judges in the state and spent ten years doing criminal work for the state as a public defender and a prosecutor.  Her years of experience working on both sides of the table have allowed her the ability to fully assess cases from all angles. Andria has had a significant amount of court room experience and is not afraid to present a case to a jury.

Andria is a Griffin native.  She enjoys traveling with her partner and spending time with her dogs.
