EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

D. Chad Nuce “Chad” obtained his BA in Finance from the University of South Florida’s School of Business. He continued on at USF and obtained his Masters of Business Administration with specialties in Finance, International Finance and International Business. While at USF, Chad was the President of the Student Finance Association. After Graduating and working as a financial analyst for a major telecom company, Chad moved to Macon, Georgia to attend Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. At Mercer, Chad was a member of Mercer’s prestigious Moot Court and competed in Albany, New York. Chad was also a “Hugh Lawson Editor” for the Hugh Lawson Moot Court Competition at Mercer and was a member of Mercer’s prestigious Inn of Court program. After obtaining his law degree from Mercer University, Chad worked for Richard H. Bishoff, P.C. in Thomaston, Georgia before founding his own law firm, later co-founding Pasley & Nuce, LLC.

Chad represents clients in many areas of the law, but dedicates a substantial amount of his time to representing injured or killed persons and their families. He has extensive trial experience and has been instrumental in the trial and recovery of several large verdicts and settlements, including a record jury verdict of over $1.7 million in Taylor County Georgia, a $3 million verdict in Meriwether County, Georgia, and many other multi-million dollar recoveries.

Chad is a life member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar advocates Forum because he has demonstrated an ability to achieve results for his clients in excess of $1M and $2M respectively. Chad is also a member of The National Trial Lawyers, Top 100 Trial Lawyers, an invitation only professional organization of trial lawyers who exemplify superior qualifications. Chad was designated by peer review as one of Georgia’s “Legal Elite” in 2008 as published in Georgia Trend Magazine. In 2005, Chad was designated in Atlanta Magazine’s Super Lawyers edition as a “rising Star” in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Practice by peer review. He is a Member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and has held offices as President and Treasurer of the Thomaston Bar Association.

Chad enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and traveling and is married with two children.
