WHEN YOU NEED HELP FROM THE GRANDPARENTS

Sometimes mom or dad might not always be able to be there for their child or children.  There are many circumstances where this can arise, such as: illness, death, active military duty, incarceration, and the list goes on.

When events transpire that do not allow for a mother or father to be able to care for their child or children for a period of time, a Grandparent Power of Attorney (“Grandparent PoA”) might be a good solution.  A Grandparent PoA will provide powers to a designated biological Grandparent or Step-Grandparent to care for the minor child or children of a parent or parents while the parent or parents are absent.
